The University Library serves as a vital knowledge resource center for students, faculty, scientists, and researchers of the University. It provides access to a comprehensive collection of print and digital information resources, supporting academic learning, research, teaching, and extension activities. The library also promotes reading habits, intellectual development, and lifelong learning among users.
The College of Agriculture was established in 1991. The library originated from the collections of Zonal Agricultural Research Station, V.C. Farm, Mandya, and Agricultural Research Station, Nagamangala. These collections were integrated into the college library during 2001–2002.
The first phase of the library building was constructed in 2001, and the facility was expanded in 2019. Each floor provides approximately 360 square meters of space, with seating capacity for 224 readers. The library's information resources are fully automated for efficient access and management.
